Safety: Older breaker panels may not meet the current electrical safety standards. Upgrading to a new panel will ensure that your electrical system is equipped with the latest safety features, such as arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs) and ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs), which protect against electrical fires and shocks.
