What happens after I finish my upgrades?

After you finish your energy-efficient upgrades, there are a few final steps you'll need to take to receive your rebate. The first step is to book a follow-up energy assessment with a Registered Energy Advisor to verify that the upgrades have been completed and are working as intended. This assessment is crucial to ensure that you're eligible for the full rebate amount. After the assessment is complete, you'll receive a final report detailing the energy savings achieved through the upgrades. This report will be used to calculate the rebate amount. Finally, you'll receive your rebate cheque within 12 weeks of the final assessment. The cheque can include up to $600 for assessments, plus additional rebates for upgrades.

Terms and Conditions

  • Once an initial service has been completed, the customer will be on a one-year commitment
  • After the initial 12 months, the contract will be renewed on a month-to-month cadence
  • If a service is completed for the next year, it automatically renews the commitment for an additional year
  • Customers can cancel at any time after the 12-month initial commitment as long as the following year’s service has not been completed.
  • Customers need to provide 30 days written notice in order to cancel their plan
